Interactive driver awareness courses
About Driver awareness
Somerset Road Safety runs Driver Awareness Courses for groups or organisations throughout the county. These driver education sessions are interactive, discussing various subjects such as ‘what makes a good driver’, observation skills, hazard perception, road positioning and lane discipline on a roundabout, to name but a few. There is also the option of an assessment drive if required.
The aim of discussing the above mentioned subjects is to develop the driver’s advanced observational skills and, as a result, reduce road traffic collisions.
It is also very important to have the right attitude when driving, but how do we develop our driver behaviour? What is a hazard and how do we identify them? Are we as good as we think we are?
Any group with a minimum of 10 attendees interested in one of these sessions should contact Somerset Road Safety on 01823 423430 or email.
