Mopeds are limited to under 30mph, so plan your ride accordingly and don’t put yourself in a position to overtake when you know your ped can’t do it. Depending on the type of licence you have, you could be riding a bike with a restricted engine, to reduce the power and speed. Never be tempted to remove the restriction until you have passed the correct licence category. Not only is it illegal, it will affect insurance cover and any claim you may have to make.
